Platform Rules
We take fairness seriously so PCH Deals stays fun for everyone. Every bidder agrees to the rules below when using PCH Deals.
The short version
- One account per person, and at most two per household.
- No reselling of items unless the auction description explicitly allows it.
- Bid on your own. Coordinating with other bidders is not allowed.
- No bots or third-party software. Every bid comes from a real person or from Booked Bids you booked yourself.
- Keep your username appropriate and honest.
Account policy
Each user may have or control only one account, without exception. Each household may have or control a maximum of two accounts. We may revoke this household allowance at our discretion.
Reselling
Products obtained from PCH Deals may not be resold unless the auction description explicitly allows it. Many of our suppliers only sell us inventory on the condition that it is not resold, and this rule is what lets us keep offering great deals. Violations result in account closure.
Winning limits
Winning limits keep the field level for everyone. The following limits apply to all users:
Twelve per year
You can win a particular item at most 12 times in a 365-day period. Any Booked Bids set up for the same item in other auctions are cancelled automatically at the time of your 12th win.
50 wins per week
You can win a maximum of 50 auctions in a single week. Once you reach the limit, all remaining Booked Bids in other auctions are cancelled. You can bid again when the limit resets at 00:00 PST on the weekday you created your account.
One Per User
Some auctions are open only to bidders who have never won that product in a One Per User auction before. They are marked "One Per User" on the auction page. Winning a regular auction for the same product does not affect your eligibility.
Coordinated bidding
Colluding with family members, friends, or acquaintances in auctions is strictly forbidden. Bidders found coordinating with others will have their auction wins voided, and in severe or repeat cases will be permanently suspended without a refund.
PCH Deals uses monitoring systems and anti-fraud protections to detect bidders who break this rule. If you suspect coordinated bidding, report it to our support team and we will investigate. We are unable to reimburse points to other bidders in auctions where it took place.
Third-party software
Using any external bidding software or automated tool, whether to scrape information or to take actions on PCH Deals, is strictly forbidden.
Usernames
Usernames must not be obscene, misleading, intimidating, or chosen to impersonate another user. PCH Deals may moderate and change infringing usernames at any time.
Employees and their families
PCH Deals employees, their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children), and anyone living in the same household may not participate in PCH Deals auctions under any circumstances.
Enforcement
If we determine that a user has broken these rules, engaged in prohibited activity, or used tools or other methods to gain an unfair advantage, PCH Deals may act at its discretion. This can include voiding auction wins, cancelling bids, limiting or removing account access, or other appropriate measures.
