PCH Deals is legit. So what's the catch?
Deals this good raise eyebrows. Here is exactly how PCH Deals works, and why the deals are real.
What's the catch?
- Every bid uses one point. Bidders buy points in Point Packs of 100 and other sizes, and daily discounts often bring the price to 14¢ or less.
- The points sold are what fund the deeply discounted auction prices. That is the whole business model, and there are no fees or subscriptions on top.
How does PCH Deals get such great deals?
PCH Deals buys overstock and liquidation inventory of brand new, premium quality goods directly from brands and liquidators, then passes the savings on to bidders.
You get your points back if you don't win
- In most bidding-fee auctions, the bidders who do not win lose their bids and leave with nothing. We think that is the biggest problem with the format.
- On PCH Deals, if you do not win you can buy the same item for its Buy It Now price and every point you used comes straight back to your account.
- Buy It Now pricing is competitive, and many times you pay less than you would at a typical retail store. Either way, you never leave empty handed.
Seriously, what's the catch?
For transparency's sake: there is no guarantee that you will win every auction. That is why we work hard to make sure everyone can leave with something. New bidders can try PCH Deals risk free: if you are not satisfied, you can get your money back on your first Point Pack within 90 days. Our friendly customer support team is available 24/7 if anything goes wrong.
It makes sense to be skeptical when a deal looks too good to be true. Auction prices start at $0.00 and rise one cent per bid, so the final price of a win is often a fraction of retail. Add up the points you used and you can still save up to 99% compared to buying at a store. And if you do not win, Buy It Now returns your points.
If you ever run into trouble, our team is a few clicks away by live chat or email. We do not cherry pick feedback, and we read all of it, because no business is perfect all the time, even though we really, really try.
