These come and go, so check the banner often.

Time as Highest Bidder multipliers

Every second you spend as the highest bidder fills your progress bar. Fill it and you claim free points and move up a level. During a multiplier event the bar fills faster: with a 2x multiplier, each second as highest bidder counts as two. Learn how Time as Highest Bidder works.

Special point prices

The price of a point changes with the offer of the day. Check the current Point Pack price regularly so you never miss the cheapest days.

Challenges

The Challenges page lists tasks you can complete for extra rewards. Finish the tasks before the challenge ends and the reward lands in your account automatically.

Coupons

From time to time we hand out coupons for discounts on Point Packs or on the final price of a win. Find yours under Coupons in your dashboard.

Special auction types

An icon on the auction card tells you the rules are different. Here is what each one means.

  • Discounted wins

    Win one of these and the final auction price is discounted by the percentage shown on the card.

  • 1¢ wins

    The final auction price is discounted to one cent. Whatever the clock stopped at, the winner pays 1¢.

  • Mystery

    The item is revealed five minutes before the auction starts, and Booked Bids can only be booked once it is.

  • No Exchange

    The winner cannot exchange this item for points.

  • Runner-Up

    The second-place bidder gets a personal 50% discount on the Buy It Now price. Use it and every point you spent in the auction comes back, just like a regular Buy It Now.

  • Leaderboard

    The three bidders with the most Time as Highest Bidder receive extra points when the auction ends.

  • No Re-Entry

    Once the No Jumper limit is reached, bidders without active Booked Bids, or whose Booked Bids run out, cannot bid again.

  • Duel

    After the No Jumper limit, if two bidders have placed the last four bids and nobody else has Booked Bids waiting, a 60-second countdown starts. If nobody else bids before it ends, the auction becomes a duel between those two.

  • Early Bird

    Booked Bids can only be booked until 10 seconds before the auction starts. Get in early or watch from the sidelines.

  • Overload

    You can have at most 100 points booked at any one time. Top up as often as you like, but anything over 100 stays in your account. This limit does not affect your regular auctions.

  • Spoils

    Win and you collect free points equal to the dollar amount of the Buy It Now price. A $100 item pays out 100 points on top of the win.

  • SpyBuddy

    Once every 60 minutes you can reveal everyone's Booked Bids for one minute. Counts above 500 show as "500+", and the snapshot does not update until your next reveal.

  • Triple-Booked

    You can have Booked Bids in at most three Triple-Booked auctions at the same time. To join a fourth, cancel your Booked Bids in one of the three. Regular auctions are not affected.

  • Splitsies

    Two to four identical auctions start at the same time, and you may join only one of them.

  • Reveal

    Usernames and avatars stay hidden until the auction ends. Bidders are numbered in the order of their first bid, then revealed when it is over.

  • One Per User

    Once you have won this item, you cannot bid on it again. Everyone gets one shot at the same great deal.

  • Win-Win

    The winner gets half of the points they used back. Spend 1,000 points and win, and 500 come back along with the item or its exchange value.

No Jumper limit

Every auction has a No Jumper limit, usually $5.00. Once the price passes it, no new bidders can join. It keeps the field fair for the people who were there from the start.

Every Booked Bid counts

Each bid placed by your Booked Bids adds 9 seconds to your Time as Highest Bidder bar, even if someone bids right after you. Active multipliers apply too. Your first bid from Booked Bids may not receive the full 9 seconds.

Booked Bids guarantee

In a very popular auction, Booked Bids set up before the start may not get to bid before the No Jumper limit is reached. As long as they were booked before the auction started and not cancelled, your place in the auction is guaranteed.

Daily Returning Bidder Rewards

Bid on consecutive days and collect free points every day, up to 30. How many you get depends on how many bids you placed the day before.
